59 seconds actually and accompanied by a catchy tune by an unknown artist which Animoto deals out for free. It ensures I don't get sued for violating a copyright on somebody's music. I doubt someone would dig deep enough to make me squirm in a court of law but one can't be too careful nowadays. We are a rather litigious society. Funny how that is. Instead of beating each other on the head and taking each other's food and loved ones as did primitive ancestors, we sue one another in court. It will be interesting to see how we evolve beyond that.
On an unrelated topic and for those that are not members of Facebook, here is a note I put up on my wall today after a fantastic time last night.
It was good seeing all who attended Lisa Fitzgerald's "see ya later Windstream" shindig last nite at Shorts on the Erie Canal in Fairport. Friends came from wide and far to wish her well. Even her EFS money team traveled north from New Jersey to give their best to this wonderful person. Thanks to Lori Ramsperger for her tremendous organization and grace in setting up the affair.
Lisa's ever faithful life partner Tom patiently stood by as Lisa reminisced with every well wisher and, on occasion, a wee bit o' Mr. Jameson's finest distillation. The party wound down late. Lisa, in Tom's arms, bid farewell to one career and said hello to a fresh, new one as she headed out into the night. Fair winds and following seas, my friend!
