It's not spring yet. The equinox isn't for a few weeks. But, you couldn't tell that from glancing outside today. In Rochester, nestled at about 43 degrees north latitude, the sun is out and a southwest breeze is blowing. The crocus and daffodils are punching through damp dirt and mulch and the temperature will top 50 degrees easily. Tonight, as is to be expected this time of year, the low pressure system to the west which is pumping up this warm air from the south, will pass to our north. On its tail will be a pressure differential which will bring high and destructive winds. The NWS predicts 70 MPH! Yikes! Bring the children inside!
But, today anyway, I've opened the windows, shut off the furnace and invited Mother Nature in to clean out a winter's worth of bad air. Nature cleaning out our house has inspired me to clean out my mind. Blogging is the way I do that.
